The Casa de la Arsenia oil mill is a company dedicated to the production of the highest quality extra virgin olive oil. It is located in Pinoso (Alicante), in the Prado area, on the Casa de la Arsenia estate, whose history dates back to the end of the 18th century, when olive oil was already produced.
Olive trees are grown on the estate which, due to their proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, give the oil particular and unique characteristics.
All crops and facilities are certified for European organic production, by the CAECV (Committee for Organic Agriculture of the Valencian Community). Our crops are also certified for the Biosuisse (Swiss Market) standard.
The harvest is carried out when the olives are at their optimal moment, to obtain an oil of the highest quality. Mechanical procedures are used throughout the process from collection, with the Braun collector. Stainless steel is the only material with which the olive is in contact, both in the harvesting machine and in the trailer during transport to the oil mill, where the olive is cleaned and processed to obtain the best organoleptic qualities, preparing it for the extraction process.
The entire process is carried out in our facilities, from production to packaging.
Oil extraction is also carried out using mechanical procedures at very low temperatures. Finally, the conservation of the oil in the cellar is carried out in stainless steel tanks, taking care of its maximum quality at all times.
